What? Monday's here already?
It must be the time change, but the weekend seemed just too short. There's so much to do, and just not enough time. The Americans are coming! And we're not ready yet. Catgirl went on an exchange program to San Francisco last summer, and now the girl she stayed with is coming here. And while we're really looking forward to her visit, there's so much to do before she gets here.
Take, for example, Catgirl's room, which is where this girl will sleep. No, really, please take it...as far away as possible! There are no words to describe the state it's in right now. I could probably have it declared a disaster area by the government and ask for public funding to fix it, but there's no time for that. So, drastic measures are in order. And since Catgirl is much too busy studying, and excercising her thumbs on her cell phone, to clean it up, tomorrow, while she's at school, I will tackle the job myself, armed with the largest Hefty bags (or the Spanish equivalent) I can find.
Hear that, Catgirl?
I know she reads this blog, but even if she doesn't this time around, she'll find out sooner or later, although she may not like it when she does.
And I'm sure you are all here to find something out too, although I doubt it's the state of my teenager's bedroom you're interested in. No, I know why you're here. You want to know who won the last Friday Photo Fun contest, don't you?
And the winner is..... Ben, of Quod Erat Demonstrosity! He guessed that the photo was of a salt grinder, and he was absolutely right. Here's a photo of it. We actually don't use it much, and I had forgotten that we even had it, until I found it the other day while looking for something else.
And stay tuned for the next installment of: All My Messy Children....Is there really a room under all those piles of clothes?
