I was planning on continuing my Barcelona series this week, but as I said, my mom's here for a visit. And so I have been very very busy shopping, drinking coffee, and teaching her how to play Paper Mario on the Wii. It's such a hard life. Add to that the fact that Catgirl had my computer sequestered for the past few days while she was working on her photoshop project of dragons setting fire to her school, and writing a meaningful post has become darned near impossible.
So, I give up.
I will be doing the Friday Photo Fun this week and next, but don't expect much else from me. I may post a photo or two, out of all my favorites, but to hear about how Santa Ana and I came down with scaffoldiphobia, you'll just have to wait.
But you can admire this lovely butterfly that posed for me at the top of a hill in Park Güell. It must have felt a strong urge to be immortalized, since with Catgirl's point-and-shoot I had to get up really close, even with the macro setting on. I couldn't have been more than 10 cm away, which makes most butterflies camera shy.
This guy saw me taking photos of the butterfly and he also wanted to get in the act, so I recorded his, um, very interesting show.
And with that I leave you until tomorrow's photo contest.
