It's Raining Again

What a weird afternoon, or maybe it's not so weird after all. Actually, come to think of it, this afternoon is like many others when the kids can't go out. It's raining cats and dogs, Jesús went to a meeting in Málaga this morning, and the kids are bopping around here like they've had 10 cups of coffee or something. At one point Vio was sticking tape all over her face, Rocío was hopping through the living room like a kangaroo, and Carmen has listened to the same song about 100 times (even with her door closed it's enough to drive anybody crazy) . What is it about rain that gets them like that? On top of it all, we caught some adolescents trying to climb over the fence into our yard (the curtains were closed so we could see them but they couldn't see us). At least we gave them a good scare when we opened the curtains to see what was going on. Cleo, our poor fat cat, was outside terrified after being chased by those delinquents, so we promptly rescued her. Rocío finally went of to catechism, so that left me with only two whirling dervishes for a while. Now, what was my nice clean house this morning looks like a tornado has struck, but what do I do? Do I pick it up? No, I sit down at the computer and start blogging, makes sense doesn't it.

  1. Just read about your day and now it is eleven oçlock at night so hopefully all three are asleep now and you get some rest. I was laughing because I saw it clearly in my mind the way you described it. How long will Jesus be gone? I bet he has nice weather there? I just came home from a meeting and it was raining so hard that I had to change my clothes because I was soaking wet. Hope your day tomorrow will be better.
